Confcommercio Imprese per l'Italia (Association of Italian Businesses for the Provinces of Pistoia and Prato) is the association representing businesses in the commerce, tourism, and services sectors of the two Tuscan provinces. Founded in 1945 in the Pistoia area, the association has undergone continuous growth, becoming the most representative trade organization in the entire province. In May 2015, it committed to reestablishing the Confcommercio structure in the Prato area. Confcommercio Pistoia and Prato was established with the aim of supporting the competitiveness of businesses by leveraging the incentives and prospects of a broader scope of intervention. It serves as a point of reference for the management and development of its members' business activities. Confcommercio operates primarily in the following areas: Representation and protection of businesses before public institutions and in negotiations with trade unions; Promotion of the interests of associated entrepreneurs; Qualified assistance and consultancy for businesses on tax, commercial, health and safety, social security, and credit matters; professional, technical, and trade union training for those starting or intending to start a business.
